Hieronder vind je drie (verkorte) vacatures bij drie heel verschillende partnerorganisaties zoals die in 2006
voorkwamen in de ICA vacature database. Hieruit kunnen de deelnemers van het vrijwilligersprogramma een keuze maken. Onze database bestaat uit ongeveer 30 projecten en door ons netwerk kunnen we altijd wel iets vinden dat bij jou past. De vacatures zijn, zoals meestal het geval is, in het Engels.
The mission is to contribute to the conservation of the biodiversity and responsible management of the natural resources through research, protection, education and production, based on participatory principles.
Projects: conservation of the natural resources in collaboration with rural communities.
Main subjects are: agroforestry and eco-tourism.
Tasks:
- Teaching English to guides of the National Parc, children and the cooking group of the project.
- Work as an environmental teacher, organising excursions for children (walks in nature, camping)
- Fundraising,
- Repair community houses.
The mission is to promote awareness of, and commitment to microfinance best-practices in Nepal within the community of MF practicioners, promoters, policy-makers and funders.
Activities: technical assistance, MF training programs, study-tours and internships, networking and communication, research and documentation, policy feedback and advocacy.
The volunteer will be stationed in Kathmandu-valley and rural villages.
Tasks:
- Program assistant: support curriculum development documentation activities, provide technical support, support the managing director in identifying and securing new projects, assist in developing a gender strategy.
- Office assistant: establish a filing system, operate as the executive secretary, systematize the filing and cataloguing of the books and materials, establish international links between CMF and similar centres.
The mission of the organisation is to uplift the standard of living of the people in Banda parish slum. This NGO has several departments which run different programmes: water & sanitation department, health department, education department, finance department and recreation department.
All the activities take place in Banda parish, where they have offices, a clinic and a community hall.
Activities: technical assistance, MF training programs, study-tours and internships, networking and communication, research and documentation, policy feedback and advocacy.
The volunteer will be stationed in Kathmandu-valley and rural villages.
Tasks:
- co-ordinating the different projects / programmes
- Be the link between staff and executive committee
- Put up more programmes of strenghtening the exisiting ones
- Monitor the departments
- Capacity building of existing committees and staff members.
